More porch work happening!

Last week it didn't seem like there was much progress. The concrete took awhile and then had to cure. By the end of last week the foundation/footings were done and there was a cement pad that will be under the porch. I was pretty dry by the time the girls got home from school but they did their best to leave their mark.

But now things are happening. By the end of Monday we could actually stand out on what will be our new deck. Pretty exciting!

And we'll have some great storage underneath. The space is approx. 17' long by 6' wide with a 42" opening. PLENTY of storage space.

Today you can actually get the feeling of the roof over head...

When I went out today to look at what progress had been made, I saw Moses overseeing the construction... (the contractor must have found him in the dirt).
